Patrick O’Brien

Patrick has an extensive real estate background. While building out Moher Properties, Patrick served as an underwriter at Beitler Real Estate, concentrating on hotel, office, residential, and retail development projects. Over time, he progressed to assembling the capital stack for a wide array of deals, including hotels, offices, RV parks, and apartments.

Patrick’s expertise extends to underwriting projects in collaboration with not-for-profit partners, involving long-term ground and air-rights agreements.

At Beitler, he took the lead in conducting multiple public presentations, articulating the intricate financial aspects of complex redevelopment structures and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) arrangements.

Before joining Beitler, Patrick gained valuable experience at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. He holds a double major in Real Estate and Finance from Marquette University, providing him with a strong foundation in both fields.

Moher Properties is an agile investment company led by Patrick O’Brien.

Moher has funds that hold STR, LTR, Multi-family and Land.

Our primary goal is to create the highest yield possible for the investors in our funds.

Pat’s humble adventures started over 15 years ago flipping houses. He ultimately grew the business into 200 apartment units throughout Chicago’s South Side by rehabbing, stabilizing, and managing the assets.

At the peak of the market in 2019, Patrick exited his current market making a massive profit.

This transition led Moher Properties into what it is today; a leading force in the short term rental and vacation property management market with over 20 homes throughout the country.
